Card spend earns cashback on the account the card spends from. Each account has its own balance and its own rate. Accounts that don’t earn cashback, and hold none, aren’t listed.

Redeeming cashback

Pay it to one of your accounts or to a recipient.

When cashback becomes available

Cashback is pending while it’s earned. A month’s cashback becomes available, and can be redeemed, on the 25th of the following month (Pacific time). Refunds reduce the cashback of the month they belong to.

Rates

GET /v2/cashback/rates returns what each account’s card spend earns this month:
current is the account’s standard rate. Some purchases may earn a different rate; each card transaction shows what it earned in details.cashback. On a tiered plan, card spend fills the tiers over the month and resets the next month. cycleSpend and spendToNextTier show the progress, and only appear on plans where spend decides the rate. A tier’s rate can also be lower than the one before, on plans whose rate drops past a spending limit. A flat rate has a single tier.

Balances

GET /v2/cashback/balances returns a balance for each account that earns cashback:
