Ordering

Create the card with type: physical and a physical.shipping address. The holder’s name is embossed on the card, and physical.secondLine adds a line under it, such as a department. An address the carrier cannot deliver to is refused. Metal designs and shipping outside the US are enabled per legal entity. Some orders carry a fee, charged to the card’s virtual account; the card stays pending until it is paid.

Shipping

physical.shipping.status follows the order separately from the card’s status: pending until the card ships, then shipped, with the carrier and a tracking link. A canceled order reads canceled.

Activation

The holder activates the card in Slash with its last four digits once it arrives. The card stays awaiting_activation, and its last4 absent, until then.

PIN

POST /v2/cards/{cardId}/pin sets the PIN of an active physical card.

Replacement

Replace a lost, stolen, damaged or undelivered card with POST /v2/cards/{cardId}/replace:
The original closes with reason as its closedReason, and the response is the new card. It keeps the original’s name, holder, virtual account, card group, design and spending limits and restrictions. physical.secondLine and physical.shipping change the embossed line and where and how the new card ships. Set a billing address or recurringPaymentsOnly on the new card, or change anything else, with PATCH /v2/cards/{cardId}.
